The Glory of Easter
The Easter season is in full swing at the Church! As we contemplate the meaning of the Cross of Jesus Christ, there is a distinct atmosphere of excitement, because we know what comes after the Crucifixion. The suffering of our Lord gives way to the ecstasy of His Resurrection!
To get there we go through a spiritual pilgirmage with Jesus. Our thoughts center on the meaning of the Cross, leading to Holy Week and a full week of solemnity as we re-live the event of Calvary.
But then comes the glory of Easter! Our rejoicing is wholehearted; our faith is inspired; our commitment to Christ is renewed; we celebrate a living Savior; we share His spiritual power and glory! We are like the disciples who were "glad when they saw the Lord,"
(St. John 20:20).
One of the greatest blessings that comes to us as a result of the Easter event is just this; the realization that death is not the end, but a new beginning and WE will live forevermore because of Easter Day!
Come and join us at the church as we remember His Crucifixion, and come celebrate the event of Easter!
God Bless Everyone!
Love to all,
Pastor Chas
