Joshua Lindsey has been an educator for 23 years. He has always felt called to help young people and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He began his career as an English teacher and soccer coach, then moved on to administration. He and his wife of 20 years (Kristi, also an educator) have also been involved in youth ministry for 18 years at DCC. They rejoice in the opportunity to serve their Lord and Savior in whatever capacity He calls. They enjoy spending time with their two boys, Elijah Emmaus (10) and Jonah Jericho (9) whether they’re boating on the water, playing Nintendo Switch or working out in the gym. Diamondhead Community Church is their home, and the congregation is their family. They love God’s church and look forward to the amazing things He has in store for their lives.

They have been members of the church since. In 2014, he was asked to be an elder and part of the session. He has served multiple terms when asked by the church to serve. He is currently the chair of the finance and administration committee and works closely with the church treasurer/secretary. His family loves their church because it is warm and welcoming to all that come to worship together. |

One of the passages that has sustained her through the years is Lamentations 3:22-23: “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.” |

Rebecca Boyer is a wife, mom of three, and a pharmacist for over 15 years. She and her husband joined Diamondhead Community Church in 2018, and she was ordained as a Ruling Elder at DCC in February of 2023. She has been married to her supportive husband Brock Boyer for 16 years. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at 9 years old and He is still granting her Grace and mercy as she continues to grow as His servant. She also serves as the Chair of the Discipleship Committee and teach the Grade K-5 Children’s Sunday School class with her mom, Sharon Hudson. One of the scriptures that has been her inspiration recently is Colossians 3:12-15: “Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Building & FacilitiesElder Allen Armstrong
|
Allen Armstrong is 45 years old and has been married to his wife Amanda for 10 years. They have been blessed with 2 amazing boys full of endless energy. He was born and raised in San Diego by his single father. Although he grew up in the world of sin and darkness, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ set forth a path to His arms. Through his travel in the world of sin, Jesus held his hand and showed him how to bring light to those that lived in the darkness. Jesus guided him to His house at Diamondhead Community Church in 2018. He works for a local lumber company, where he runs the window and door install program as well as sell lumber to contractors. As an elder of DCC he is on the building and facilities committee. Through his success or struggles he would say that Colossians 3:14, “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony” is a passage that has brought peace to his life.
