DCC Prayer Ministry
Prayer Chain
We are a prayer group whose membership is open to our entire congregation. Prayer requests reach us through the church office, Pastor Jason and through our coordinator, Ginny Eblen. We are here for all who request our prayer. The person in need of prayer must give us permission to place them on our prayer list either personally, through a close family member, a close friend or Pastor Jason. This is because we are aware that some folks are very private and we respect that.
Prayer requests reach our members through email or by phone from a prayer partner who has received the prayer request by email. Each of our members takes prayer requests before God during their private prayer time.
Though every effort has been made to include our entire congregation as members of this church-wide prayer group, excluding only those who have so requested, if we have missed anyone who wishes to receive prayer requests to take to God, please let Ginny Eblen know.
Prayer is one of God’s greatest gifts. Our Lord, the Creator of the universe has invited us to "rejoice in the Lord always…Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:4-7.
