Missions at DCC
As part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, some of our tithes and offerings go to World Outreach. The mission of EPC World Outreach is to see all peoples worshipping and following Jesus. We serve the mission of the EPC to “carry out the Great Commission of Jesus”, focusing on those with least access. We look with yearning hearts toward the day where we see representatives of every tongue, tribe and nation following Jesus and worshipping before God’s throne.
Operation Christmas Child at DCC
Diamondhead Community Church is active in the missional work of Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.
We packed 230 shoeboxes in 2023, and we have set a goal of filling 300 in 2024! For the month of August our congregation is collecting small toys and school supplies for our annual “Alpaca Party” in October. We have a collection bin in the Narthex of our Sanctuary where members and visitors can bring items they are donating.
This bin is hard to miss because it looks just like a huge Operation Christmas Child shoebox!

At DCC we also serve as a local drop-off site for Operation Christmas Child and in 2023 our site collected 1040 shoeboxes from local churches, organizations, and individuals in Hancock County.
