The Worship Committee’s primary responsibility is to enrich the worship experience of all who attend our church. We rely on excellent volunteers for our committee and value their input and time. This can also include appointing, volunteering, and possible training in preparing for and assisting in the worship services.
The Worship Committee currently has assigned selected persons in charge of each service to recruit fellow church members to serve in the following areas:
Greeters Church Flowers
Ushers Offering Stewards
Lay Readers Acolytes
Communion Preparation
We have “Snow Birds” that consider Diamondhead Community their second church and many of them also participate in these roles when in the area.
Other areas of interest within this committee would include participation in the Choir, Bell Choir, Chrismon Tree, Changing of Paraments, etc. There is a variety of items that come within the bounds of the Worship Committee experience. New members are more than welcome to join the Worship Committee. This does not obligate one to be assigned to any specific task. We value your input and fellowship and with everyone’s input, continually enhancing our worship experience.
